A Picture of Victory: The severely injured pilots returned to the skies

On the International Day for Equal Rights for People with Disabilities, Noam Gershony came for an exciting interview which will not break any sound barrier, but it breaks many other barriers – of the victory of the spirit over the body.
 
After experiencing a helicopter crash in the Second Lebanon War and fighting for his life – Noam embarked on a long path to recovery at the end of which he became an Olympic champion, won a gold medal in tennis at the London Olympics in 2012, and at his peak was ranked second in the world in handicap tennis in the highest handicap category. The new heights he ascends to and the new records he breaks make Noam an inspiration to thousands of people in Israel and all over the world.
